Is there any negative marking in AP TET exam?
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh for the recruitment of teachers. The AP TET 2021 notification is not released yet, but interested candidates can expect it soon. The main objective of this exam is to select qualified teachers as per the standard set by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The candidates need to go through two exams, Paper-I is for the candidates applying from Class I to Class V and Paper-II is for the candidates applying from Class VI to Class VIII. The question paper will be in English and the Language-I was chosen by the candidate except for Sanskrit. The mode of the exam is online and questions are multiple-choice. Each question is one mark and there is no negative marking in the AP TET exam.
Exam Pattern for AP TET
Paper-I – There is a total of 150 questions and the total time available is 150 minutes. The subject wise marks distribution is as follows:
Paper-II-A – Total time available is 150 minutes for 150 MCQs. The subject-wise distribution of marks is as follows:
(b) For Social Studies Teacher - 60 questions of 60 marks
(c) For any other Teacher
Paper-II-B - Total 150 questions of 150 marks in this section, added to this there are 30 incentive marks for Meritorious Sports Candidates.
