B.Tech final-year students can't apply for the APPSC Group 2 because the minimum qualification required for this post is a degree from a recognized university. The APPSC Group 2 is a high-ranked exam so the competition is also very high. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this exam. B.Tech final-year students do not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for this exam and hence, cannot apply for it. The other details about eligibility criteria are explained below:
Educational Qualification- The candidates must have possessed a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India or any equivalent qualification.
Age Limit- The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 years and must not exceed 42 years for most of the posts, the upper age limit can vary for some of the posts. Age relaxation is provided to some of the reserved categories as per the rules of the Government.
Number of Attempts- A candidate can attempt this examination as long as he or she met the upper age limit for the posts. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for this exam.
Nationality- The candidates applying for this examination must be citizens of India.
The candidates need to meet physical standards also for selection to some posts. For most of the posts, there is no physical criterion but for some posts like Constable, Sub-Inspector, and Armed Reserve Sub Inspector, the candidates need to be physically fit and must have the required physical measurements.
The candidates who wish to apply for Group 2 of the APPSC must meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned above. Candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Preparation is also very important to crack this exam.
