Does a TSPSC divisional account officer have negative marking?


The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) DAO exam is conducted by the TSPSC to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Divisional Account Officer in the Telangana State Government. The duty of a DAO is to maintain the accounts and financial records of the state government.

The TSPSC DAO exam is a written examination consisting of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I has 150 questions of 150 marks from the following subjects: General Studies and General Ability. Paper II also has 150 questions of 300 marks from the following subjects: Arithmetic and Mensuration.

Arithmetic: Number Systems, Fundamental Operations, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Polynomials and Progressions, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Sets, Statistics, and Probability.

2. Mensuration: Area of Plane Figures, Surface Area and Volume of Solid Figures (Cubes only), Right Prism, Right Circular Cylinder, Right Circular Cone, Trigonometric, etc.
