How do I prepare for the RRB NTPC CBT 2?


RRB NTPC Exam is based on a computer-based test where you have to answer questions related to General Intelligence, Numerical Ability and Reasoning. The problems asked in the examination are based on Objective Type multiple choice questions which require you to choose one out of the given four possible answers.

General Awareness Topics:

For this section, you should be well aware of all Current affairs, History, GK topics that were taught up till 10th Grade. You will not find any questions from other topics apart from these mentioned here.

Numerical Ability Topics:

In this section, there will be questions from Simplification, Number system, Decimals & Fractions, Profit-Loss, Compound Interest, Time & Work, LCM and HCF etc.. So make sure you practice a lot of questions on these topics. Arithmetic questions like number Series also will be asked, make sure you practice hard on these series and their speed.

General Intelligence Topics:

To prepare for this section, you must be well aware of the current and trending GK topics that include:

Sports, Awards and Honors, Books and Authors, Common Abbreviations, Indian Literature, Art Of India, Famous Personalities, Environmental Issues etc. Make sure you are well aware of these topics.

Reasoning Topics:

You must be well aware of all the topics that were taught up until class 10th like Blood relations, Venn’s Diagrams, Conclusions, Jumbling, Data Sufficiency, Alphabet Series, Coding-Decoding etc. Apart from this questions will also be asked from Syllogisms and number Series. Make sure you practice them all.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Preparation Strategy

Read Your Syllabus Thoroughly:

Make sure you read your syllabus completely and prepare a rough idea of all the topics that will be asked. Make separate sections for each topic, like one for GK, General Intelligence, Numerical Ability and Reasoning etc. Doing this will help you in easy studying.
