Eligibility Criteria of TSPSC Group-1 exam
For the TSPSC Group-1 exam, there is a total of 124 vacancies available. Students need to have a bachelor degree before applying for the exam, for District Fire Officer there is a requirement for a degree in Fire Engineering and for Assistant Treasury Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer there must be a degree in Commerce or Economics or in Mathematics.
The age limit for most of the posts is 18 to 42 years but for some posts, it differs. Such as for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) age limit is 21 to 28 years, for the Deputy Superintendent of Jails age limit is 18 to 28 years, for the District Fire Officer age limit is 21 to 26 years, for Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent age limit is 18 to 26 years and there is age relaxation available for various categories.
The candidates get selected after the 3 rounds of the selection process:
· Preliminary Examination
· Mains Examination
· Personal Interview
