Is a BSc in agriculture eligible for a TSPSC extension officer grade 1?



A TSPSC Extension Officer Grade I need would act as a link between the agricultural field and the department. They have to work towards executing the policies and plans of the department in order to improve agricultural productivity.

Recently the Telangana State Public Service Commission released a notification for the extension officer post and there is an opportunity available in this post for BSc agriculture students. A candidate with BSC in agriculture can apply for the Agriculture Extension Officer post. Other important details related to the exam are given below in this article.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for this post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 44 years. Age relaxation is given according to government norms. The selection process is based on written examination and qualified candidates will be called for document verification.

Exam Pattern

The written examination will be of objective type and it will be multiple choice questions. The exam consists of two papers and each paper carries 150 questions for 150 marks. The total marks for the written examination are 300 marks.

The candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section. The qualified candidates will be called for document verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
