TSPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern

For this exam students need to go through two written exams and a personal interview as given below:

• Preliminary Exam: It is about General Studies and mental Ability. The total time available for this exam is 150 minutes and 150 marks.
• Mains Exam: The mains exam consists of General English and six other papers. The various categories of mains exam are General English, Paper-I General Essay, Paper-II History, Culture and Geography, Paper-III Indian Society, Governance and Constitution, Paper-IV Economy and Development, Paper-V Science and technology and Interpretation of Data, Paper-VI Telangana Movement and State Formation. All these exams are for 3 hours and the total marks available are 150.
