The following are details of the Group-4 selection procedure of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
Selection procedure
The selection process consists of written examination & document verification.
1. Written Examination
The examinations conducted by APPSC are of an objective type, which includes Paper I and II. The time duration for each paper is 2:30 hours long; there's also a 150-question question limit on both papers combined (inclusive from General Studies section in Part 1 as well as Secretarial Abilities part 2). It should be noted that the appearance at all levels - including written circles like district selection committees or even commission--is compulsory to qualify yourself properly!
2. Document Verification
Candidates must submit attested photocopies of all required certificates and original documents and other relevant information as needed. If the particulars furnished in the application do not tally with the Original documents produced by the candidate, the candidature will be rejected. The work of verifying the certificates and preparation of merit list as per the communal Roster is interested in the respective District Collectors.
The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits free from any bodily defect or infirmity.
