The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) recruits Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE) for various departments in the state. The APPSC AEE exam is conducted in two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam. The candidates who clear the stages will be called for an interview. This section has two papers, Part A is a paper on General Studies & Mental Ability and Part B is a paper on the Engineering field of specialization. The questions in the preliminary exams are objective-type multiple-choice questions. Part A has 50 questions for 50 marks and Part B has 100 questions for 100 marks. The total time available for both sections is 150 minutes.
This section of the exam has 3 papers, Paper-I is on General Studies and Paper-II & Paper-III are about the concerned subject. In the main exam, all three papers have 150 questions and are of 150 marks. So, the main exam has 450 questions and is of 450 marks.
The candidates who clear both the preliminary and the main exam will then be called for an interview.
