What is the syllabus of the TSPSC Group 4?


The TSPSC Group 4 is an exam conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to fill various vacancies for Group 4 posts such as Junior Assistant, Typist, Record Assistant, Bill Collector, and others. TSPSC Group 4 syllabus

Proficiency Test:

The proficiency test, which is taken after Stage I, is divided into four parts which are explained below:

  • For this candidates need to type a letter or paragraph in Microsoft Word with a word count of 150 to 200 words range. This question is worth 20 marks.
  • This question is of 15 marks and asks candidates to make a table or graph using Microsoft Excel.
  • In this section, candidates can earn 10 marks for preparing a slide or presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • The final section is only worth 5 marks. It asks candidates to present the matter in an email in their inbox.

The four sections of the proficiency tests are each worth a total of 50 marks.

Paper II:

This section consists of questions from the Secretarial Abilities and Mental Ability sections. The Secretarial Abilities section consists of questions related to General English, Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability, Numerical & Arithmetical Ability, and Basic Computer Knowledge. The Mental Ability section covers mental abilities such as problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, and other similar topics.
