When do we can apply for TSPSC Group 1 exam?


TSPSC will soon release notification for various Group 1 post. TSPSC refers to Telangana State Public Service Commission. TSPSC is made by the Indian Constitution for the recruitment of candidates for civil service job in Telangana. The Group 1 exam is a state-level exam. Candidates can get a high pay scale through clearing Group 1 exam.

The candidates must possess the degree from a recognised university or board to apply for TSPSC Group 1 posts. Age limit for most of the Group 1 posts varies from 18 – 44 years, but for Deputy Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Jails age limit is 21-30 years, for Divisional Fire Officer age limit is 21-28 years, for Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent age limit is 18-28 years and there is relaxation for certain categories, like 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates. 

 The candidates need to go through three examinations of the selection process. The TSPSC Group 1 exam pattern is as follows:

 · Preliminary Examination 

 · Mains Examination 

 · Personal Interview 

 · Preliminary Examination: The subjects for this exam are General Studies & Mental Ability and it is an objective type exam. The time duration is 150 minutes and is 150 marks.

 · Written Examination (Mains): The subject is General English and it is a qualifying test. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-I: The subject is General Essay. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-II: The subjects are History, Culture and Geography. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-III: The subjects are Indian Society, Constitution & Governance. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-IV: The subjects are Economy and Development. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-V: The subjects are Science, Technology and Data Interpretation. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks.

· Paper-VI: The subjects are Telangana Movement and State Formation. The total time duration is 3 hours and 150 marks. 

The Personal Interview is of total 100 marks. So, the grand total of marks is 1000 marks.
