TSPSC AEE Exam Pattern
For the TSPSC AEE exam, there are two stages of selection; one is a written exam and the second is a personal interview. The final result will be announced after both stages of selection.
Stage-I – It has two written exams, the details about the exams are given below;
Paper-I – The subjects that come under this exam is General Studies, Mental Ability, History, and Culture of Telangana. The total number of questions is 150 (MCQs) and each question is of 1 mark. The total time available for this exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Paper-II – It is about the branch of engineering (electrical, mechanical, or civil) the candidate is applying for. This paper also has 150 MCQs and the exam is of 300 marks. The time duration for this exam is also 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Stage-II – into this student who clears the stage-I will be called for the personal interview and it is of 50 marks.
The main topics for Paper-I are Current Affairs, Economics, General Science, Constitution of India, Reasoning, History, Indian National Movement, Telangana History, and its Statehood Movement. For Paper-II the topics vary as per the branch candidate is applying for. For example; for civil engineering, some of the topics are Environmental Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Soil Mechanics, Surveying, RCC, and Steel Structure.
