There is no specific cutoff mark for the TSPSC Group 1 Mains. However, candidates must score at least 50% marks to be eligible for selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the written examinations and interviews. Candidates who have secured higher marks in both these rounds will be given preference. Only the candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview will be called for document verification. After the successful completion of all the selection rounds, the candidates will be appointed to various posts under TSPSC Group 1.
As per the previous year's cut-off, candidates who secured at least 80+ marks in the mains examination are to be shortlisted for final selection. However, the exact cutoff marks for TSPSC Group 1 Mains will be released by the commission on its official website after the completion of all the selection rounds.
The final cutoff for the exam will be released by the Telangana State Public Service Commission on their official website. However, candidates can expect the cutoff to be in the following range:
General: 80+
OBC: 70+
SC & ST: 60+
This year, the commission is expected to follow a similar trend for the selection of candidates for final appointments. Candidates who have scored more than the cutoff marks will be shortlisted for final selection. The candidates who will be finally selected will be appointed to various posts under TSPSC Group 1.
